DESCRIPTION
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Chau Doc
Day 1 of this 3 days tour will begin with a departure for My Tho.
We will start out tour on the water, going on a boat cruise as well as rowing sampans (rowboats) up the river, we will then have lunch before leaving for Chau Doc. A stop along the way for a visit at the Crocodile Farm is a "must"! Here we will learn interesting facts about crocodile incubation and crocodile hatchlings.
We will then visit Sam Mountain and the Cave Pagoda before checking into a hotel and spend the night in Chau Doc.
Day 2: Chau Doc - Can Tho
Day 2 will begin with a morning boat trip to visit the Floating Fish Farm, the Floating Village and the Cham Weaving Village. We will then head toward Can Tho, the largest city in the Mekong Delta, where we will check-in at a hotel. We will have dinner and spend the evening in Can Tho.
Day 3: Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast we will check out from our hotel and travel by boat to Cai Rang Floating Market.
Floating markets are a central feature of the life on the Mekong. By selling or bartering their goods on their boats, locals make their living. On the way back to Ho Chi Minh City, we will visit the Dong Tam Snake Farm, the largest of its kind in Vietnam. Here venom is produced for local use and export.
Departing from Can Tho, we will have lunch at the Mekong Rest Stop before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.
